Bakken, the oldest amusement park in the world and the most entertaining in Denmark – with a tradition stretching back 425 years – signed a multi-year agreement with TAZ yesterday.
Bakken has been a firm favourite with the people of Copenhagen since it opened for the first time in 1583. Nowadays the park welcomes 2.5–2.7 million visitors a year. This number puts Bakken firmly in second place on the list of the most popular attractions in Denmark – and tenth in Europe.
Bakken has 160 businesses packed into an area of 75,000 m2 in the most attractive countryside area near Copenhagen. Right outside the gates stands Dyrehaven, one of the most delightful stretches of woods in Denmark, which with its wonderful natural treasures provides a beautiful backdrop that other amusement parks can only wish for.
“We are very excited about the collaboration with TAZ and the prospect of launching the ActionTrack Platform at Bakken. We are certain that the new platform will add value to the experience of the guests and thus be of great value to us.”, Stine Walsh, Marketing Manager, Bakken.
Bakken and TAZ met each others for the first time in the end of September at the IAAPA Expo in Paris. TAZ will attend the next IAAPA Expo event in Orlando, Florida, November 19-22.
