Only 10 minutes drive north of Copenhagen your find the oldest amusement park in the world. Located in the woods of Dyrehaven, Bakken is a unique amusement park, which offers a historic and nostalgic venue combined with modern and fun amusements and thrill rides for over 2,5 million annual visitors.
Last year Bakken made a long-term commitment to create one of the best interactive play offerings in an amusement park. After a survey of suitable technologies, Bakken signed a three-year agreement with TAZ, allowing the use of ActionTrack platform as the basis for several digital experiences to be offered to the park visitors.
Frej Scherfig, event coordinator at Bakken, has made various experiences ready for the park opening today. The visitors can see their own locations on an interactive park map, getting information about the nearby attractions seamlessly. A Kiddy Ride route offers selected amusements for the children, whereas Fast and Furious and Pub Crawl activities are targeted for adult visitors. School classes are offered a Treasure Hunt game, and even a children’s running competition in May is organized using TAZ’s ActionTrack platform.
Stine Walsh, marketingchef at Bakken, has a multi-year vision of providing better services for Bakken’s membership groups and VIPs using the ActionTrack platform. Bakken aims to take more ActionTrack features gradually into use, surprising their visitors every year. In the future, Bakken also aims to offer premium content and charge guests on using the best digital services in the world.
