Team City Challenge used this year ActionTrack platform for the first time in the event history. Total of 920 people (over 350 teams) participated the event this year, making it the biggest city adventure race in Finland.
The attached video shows some of the event action, as well as use of ActionTrack from the perspectives of the organizers and the participants.
ActionTrack allowed the organizers to monitor teams in real time, send information to the teams, chat with teams, as well as make hidden checkpoints available to the teams during the event.
Participants were able to see the checkpoints with ActionTrack, and get guidance to the checkpoints. At each checkpoint ActionTrack gave the corresponding activity info to the teams. Participants were also able to see other teams on the map, and use that information in deciding where to go next (avoiding crowded checkpoints). Participants were also able to send photos to the organizers, and well as chat with them.
