Future (1)TAZ’s key strength is the innovative product development process that is closely tied to the customer needs. In other words, with the process TAZ is able to utilize the latest technologies to build easy­to­use solutions for everyone. As the number of customer segments utilizing the ActionTrack platform keep on increasing, TAZ will pay a special attention in the near future to the following key topics: Ease of use, flexibility, scalability and continuous innovation.

We have received lots of positive feedback on our graphical web interface for creating and administrating activities with ActionTrack. We can basically train anybody to use ActionTrack admin tool. No understanding on information technologies or software development is required. However, as the ActionTrack platform evolves and new features are regularly introduced, we are well aware of the danger ahead. Over time the admin user interface gets gradually more and more complex, and in the end it ceases to be easy-­to-­use unless something clever is done along the way. So, while adding new features TAZ is simultaneously planning the next generation user interface for the admin tool. First of all, the next generation interface will hide the complexity using a layered design. The tool will be even easier for the first time users, but at the same time allow many advanced operations to be done quicker by the expert users. Secondly, the tool will have less sections and the navigation within the tool becomes more straightforward. We also consider enabling off­line editing of activities, as sometimes one may want or need to work without a proper Internet access. For admin tool related issues we obviously want to hear your opinion and feedback also.

TAZ continues to develop one platform for the use of multiple customer segments. We have already evidenced many new features that were originally requested by one customer segment, but which features were taken into active use by many other segments. We consider that getting feedback and requests from multiple customer segments is a luxury. By listening to very different partners with very different needs we have indeed a great opportunity, with a little bit of magic, to convert the differences into generic and consistent solutions. By offering only one platform we are also building one coherent ecosystem for multiple service providers and increasing number of consumers. Only one app to install, one tool to learn, but countless ways to use it.

We have steadily increased the scalability of the ActionTrack platform, allowing larger and larger activities (e.g. events) with real­time scoring and monitoring. With the next release different parts of the platform are implemented in such a way that it is convenient to run activities for thousands of simultaneous users. The real­time monitoring bottlenecks from the admin tool have been removed with simple solutions such as paging and filtering. In the future we are aiming at massive activities having even millions of users. We improve the scalability step by step, roughly one decade between each milestone. In the end, the ActionTrack platform can be used for example in TV programs to engage the audience, in nation­wide or global marketing campaigns as well as together with the biggest global events.

TAZ continues to build the ActionTrack platform and keep the pole position in innovation across several customer segments. In 2014, we are adding many new functionalities enabling enhanced customer retention (virtual keys), a new monetizing method (in­app purchases by consumers), a completely new menus&lists for better browsing of information, detailed activity statistics (enabling thorough user analysis by licensees), and for example social media uploads. We keep on collecting requests and feature wishes from all our partners. In adition, we keep on organizing face­to­face workshops to innovate together. We announce the next workshop location and date soon after the holidays.
